Here Lies is a series of live installations mapping Antonin Artaud's extraordinary journey through Ireland in 1937. Created in collaboration with Selina Cartmell and designer Paul Keogan Performed by Olwen Fouéré and Roger Doyle, Here Lies was first installed in the Imperial Hotel, Galway during the Galway Arts Festival 2005 and was subsequently installed in Dublin and in Paris in Nov/Dec 2006. Fouéré subsequently collaborated with cinematographer Christopher Doyle on a project entitled Here Lies in film… for gallery and cinema exposition.
